February 2010, National Science and Technology Department issued the document < the notice of National Key Laboratory construction program of the second batch enterprise>. Our program which is the National Key Laboratory of high performance building materials was in the second batch of National Key Laboratory construction program. After an open recruitment and public appraisal, Chairman Miao-Changwen was chosen to be the Laboratory Director.
