15th-18th Augest，RILEM International conference (Use of Superabsorbent Polymers and Other New Additives in Concrete) was held in Lyngby, Denmark. Chairman Miao Changwen participated in the conference and made an academic report.
During the period in Denmark, Chairman Miao Changwen was invited to be a Visiting Professor in Civil Engineering Department of Technical University of Denmark by an international concrete expert Professor ole Mejlhede Jensen.
Apart from academic exchange, Chairman Miao Changwen returned to Technical University of Denmark which he studied in 23 years ago, visited the old colleagues and friends.6th-10th September, Chairman Miao Changwen participated in RILEM WEEK in Aachen University of Germany. Chairman Miao Changwen was elected to be the menber of the Management Committee (MAC) and the Education Committee (EAC) and also the Chairman of China district.
