The laboratory has instruments, devices and research conditions for matrial preparation, characterization thermal test, mechanical test , deformation performance, heat preservation, serive performance, microstructure mechanism analysis and environment simulation.

1 In aspects of matrials preparation and characterization, it has special devices for organic synthesis and material forming, and instruments and devices of material structure characterization, such as high performance liquid column chromatography and infrared spectrometer, etc.

2 In aspects of materials performance test, it has thermal test instruments such as contactless resistivity and thermal conductivity measurement instruments ,mechanical testing equipment such as multi-tonnage electro-hydraulic servo testing machine, etc., material energy saving performance test method and devices such as exterior insulation weather ability and wind pressure detection system, and material service performance test devices, such as electrochemical workstation, non-steady-state chloride diffusion coefficient tester and physical acoustic emission instrument, etc.

3 In aspect of Micro-analysis, the lab has X-ray fluorescence analyzer, polarizing microscope, stereomicroscope, bubble structure analyzer, laser particle size analyzer and complete sets of micro-analysis sample preparation system.

4 In the aspect of environment simulation, it has ultraviolet light aging test chamber, salt spray corrosion test chamber, environmental chamber, and artificial climate environment simulation chamber.
